Who doesn't love Irish Coffee? These On the Go! glasses are inspired by Blown Away Season 3, challenge 2. The challenge was to design and create an iconic drinking glass for the cocktail we were assigned. And we had a impress the guest judge and award winning cocktail maker Veronica Says.
Honestly, I thought this one was going to send me home because I am not typically a cup maker. In the end I was really happy with the design and concept, but I am way happier with this version after having the time to develop and perfect it.
Joe Sheridan’s original recipe for the TRUE Irish Coffee is as follows:
Cream - Rich as an Irish Brogue
Coffee - Strong as a Friendly Hand
Sugar - Sweet as the tongue of a Rogue
Whiskey - Smooth as the Wit of the Land
Each glass is handmade and is accompanied by a handmade glass straw. The embellishments are made with high fire enamels. On the Go! Irish Coffee Glasses come signed and dated with a certificate of authenticity.
*Glasses should be washed by hand immediately after use.
