Join us April 3 through April 7 as Blown Away comes to The Corning Museum of Glass! 

The winner of the hit Netflix series Blown Away receives a life-changing prize: the Blown Away Residency at The Corning Museum of Glass. It’s a chance to explore new ideas in glass; an opportunity to work with our team of talented artists to realize nearly any vision the winner wants to pursue. Join us for this highly anticipated residency when winner John Moran, along with his partner and assistant Marta Byrdziak, take advantage of his prize and collaborate with the Museum’s Hot Glass Team.

Those who saw John's victory in Season 3 will remember his thought-provoking installation Behind the Golden Door. John first worked with the Museum team to create this artwork in front of the cameras, and now will team up with them once again for the residency.     

Plus, don’t miss one of John's objects, Inevitable Expansion, on display in the Museum’s Blown Away Season 3 display as well as his final installation piece, Behind the Golden Door, on the West Bridge.

See John Moran in the Amphitheater Hot Shop Monday, April 3 through Friday, April 7, 10 am–4 pm each day.
