-PreOrder- Don't Just Fly Sore -VERY LIMITED EDITION OF 8

€2,500.00

For the challenge, Under the Bigtop, we were asked to create a piece of art inspired by the circus! It was such a fun challenge and so much fun to hear the thoughts of guest evaluator, aerial acrobat and circus owner, Miranda Tempest.

I decided to make a political piece… who would’ve guessed? It seemed like the right moment to make light of the political circus and poke fun at politicians with a little tongue in cheek Americana symbolism. One key element that we never really touched on was the fact that elephant is supposed to look as if he is balancing on a ball and doing a trick, but in fact he is just pretending. He is being held up completely by a white pedestal.
