A Little Dirty On the Side Six

€2,300.00
1 available

2025. 7 in H x 7 in W x 9 in D

Each piece is signed, numbered, and dated, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

I hate olives. But I really enjoy making these piece!. The challenge was to recreate a random object larger than life, at least 12in. We had the opportunity to have Briony Douglas, Toronto based artist, photographer, and influencer, and the guest judge!

These pieces certainly pushed my limits technically. The color is incredibly important and working to match it makes all the difference. You would think that the shape of an olive is very soft and round, but if you really study it, there are all kinds of variations in the surface and color.

While the scale is definitely a challenge, the piece is still incredibly fun to make!
